Pattern: popcorn crochet cowl

Fall is upon us so naturally I’ve been working on a bunch of scarves and cowls! I wanted to make something with a lot of texture and different stitches. I found thisĀ PatternĀ and just made a few changes.

I used a 5mm hook and one skein chunky yarn. I used Yarn Bee Aspyn in wildbrush from Hobby Lobby!

I did NOT make the button holes. Just continued along with the pattern. Instead of adding buttons I just slip stitched the beginning row and ending row together! I used exactly one skein of yarn, following the basic pattern until I ran out.

Love the popcorn stitch in this pattern, gives it really nice texture.
