I wen’t to Michaels the other day and fell in love with there new Alpaca yarn! There’s so many beautiful colors I will definitely be going back for more. The two colors I picked go really well together so I decided to make something using both, an infinity scarf!
Materials:
Super bulky weight yarn. I used Lush Alpaca by Loops and Threads in Taupe and Pink.
10mm crochet hook
yarn needle
Pattern:
With your first color,
Ch 20
Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and all the way across (19sc). Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: sc across. turn.
Row 4: ch 4 (counts as first dc and chain 1) skip one stitch, Dc in next. *ch 1, skip one, dc in following. Repeat from *across. Turn.
Row 5: Ch 4. Skip the first ch 1 space, and Dc in top of the Dc from the previous row. *Ch 1, skip ch space, and Dc into Dc from previous row. Repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 6: sc in first stitch and in ch 1 space. Continue Sc in each stitch and ch 1 space across. (19sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 7: Sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 8: Sc across.
Repeat rows 4-8 until you get close to running out of yarn, ending in a “row 5” row. Attach second color and continue repeating the pattern, starting with row 6.
When you have the same length in the second color, Slip stitch your beginning row and ending row together. Tie off and weave in all ends.
This Alpaca yarn is so soft and cozy…
LOVE these colors…
This pattern would also work really well with team colors for football season!

These are beautiful! Can you please tell me how many balls of wool you used in the alpaca scarf? Thanks so much for sharing! I just bought this wool in the dark rasberry colour.
