I wen’t to Michaels the other day and fell in love with there new Alpaca yarn! There’s so many beautiful colors I will definitely be going back for more. The two colors I picked go really well together so I decided to make something using both, an infinity scarf!
Materials:
Super bulky weight yarn. I used Lush Alpaca by Loops and Threads in Taupe and Pink.
10mm crochet hook
yarn needle
Materials:
Super bulky yarn, I used Lion-brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick in Moonlight.
10mm crochet hook
Pattern:
This cowl is super fast to whip up! I found this Pattern for the Lorelei super scarf and fell in love with it. Instead of making a scarf I decided to turn it into a cowl. It’s a really simple and repetitive pattern.
I chained 27 and completed rows 1-4. I then repeated rows 2-4 until I had a total of 27 rows altogether.
After that, I slip stitched the beginning row and last row together. Weave in all the ends.
Simple as that.
And of course my adorable little model…

I recently saw a picture of the side saddle stitch and wanted to try it! It’s a really gorgeous stitch and once you have it memorized its pretty straightforward. I decided to make a beanie out of it and will be adding it to my craft market stash! Here is a good video tutorial if you need a visual. The only difference is we are turning our work and working in the round instead of going back and fourth in rows.
Materials:
Worsted Weight Yarn, I used Loops & threads urban yarn in oatmeal.
5mm Crochet Hook
Yarn Needle
Fall is upon us so naturally I’ve been working on a bunch of scarves and cowls! I wanted to make something with a lot of texture and different stitches. I found this Pattern and just made a few changes.
I used a 5mm hook and one skein chunky yarn. I used Yarn Bee Aspyn in wildbrush from Hobby Lobby!
I did NOT make the button holes. Just continued along with the pattern. Instead of adding buttons I just slip stitched the beginning row and ending row together! I used exactly one skein of yarn, following the basic pattern until I ran out.
Love the popcorn stitch in this pattern, gives it really nice texture.
Send me your pictures or tag me on Instagram if you make the cowl! I love to see everyones results!
I recently made this super cute crochet pillow for my couch! It works up really fast and was a quick, fun project. I found the pattern from Jo-Anns!
I used two strands of Bernat Blanket Yarn in Vintage White.
See how soft and squishy…
Love the vintage white color against the grey couch.
They also have two more pillow patterns to go along with this one! Im thinking I’ll have to make them both for a matching set.
I ordered this pillow insert in size 18″ round and it fit perfectly.
If you decide to make one of the pillows be sure to tag me on Instagram so I can see!
So I’ve been obsessed with mandalas lately and had a bunch of cotton yarn I wanted to use so I made some cute mandala coasters! These are really fun and easy to make. I used a free pattern from Ravelry. Instead of making the entire mandala I stopped after round 4 and they are the perfect coaster size. I used Lily Sugar’n Cream Cotton yarn and just mixed the colors with each coaster.
Materials:
Lily Sugar’n cream cotton- 4 colors
Crochet hook size 2.5mm
yarn needle
