What’s better then a cute crochet top you made for yourself? A cute crochet top with bobbles! I’m a huge fan of the bobble stitch, so when I was asked to be a part of the Big Bobble Blog Hop I was so excited! A group of crochet bloggers coming together with a bunch of bobble goodness? Yes, please. Not only that but you also get the chance to win a bunch of awesome yarn from the one and only Lion-Brand! Can’t get much better then that right?!
I had so much fun making The Bobble Crop Top and it’s one of my favorite summer pieces! I hope you love it too. Be sure to tag me in all of your Bobble Crop Top photos on Instagram so I can share!
This top is made in 2 panels and sewn together. The sleeves are added last.
Both panels are worked from the bottom up.
Your bobbles will be “popping” away from you. That will be the front/correct side of the shirt.
For a more “fitted top” take away increase Row 8 and replace it with another repeat of Row 5 instead.

Joining your panels-
Place your panels together, correct sides facing. Using your method of choice, you will be sewing your panels together. I like to use my crochet hook and Sl St the front and back panel together. You can also use a yarn needle and sew your panels together.
Seam your shoulder straps together. Working through the outer loops only on the last rows made on both panels, Sl St across. Repeat on opposite shoulder. Tie off.
Seam the sides together using the same process. Join yarn with a Sl St to the bottom corner on either side. Sl St up the side until you reach Row 28(30,32,34,36). Tie off. Repeat on other side.
Neckline-
Round 1: Join your yarn to the neck opening of your shirt. I like to join at the shoulder seam, with a Sl St. Ch 1. Work single crochets evenly around the neckline of your shirt. Be sure to end your St count in a multiple of 3. Join to first Sc with a Sl St. TURN.
Round 2: Ch 1. *1 Sc in next 2 stitches, Bobble in following St.*Repeat around. Join to the first St with a Sl St.
