So, I don’t know about you guys but I plan on staying home as much as possible this year and doing all my shopping online! I would much rather be cozied up under a squishy blanket instead of fighting the crowds to get my shopping done haha! I made the perfect blanket to do just that- The Fitzwilliam Throw Blanket!
The Fitzwilliam Throw Blanket is made with Lion Brand Cover Story yarn and Lion Brand Go For Faux Thick and Quick yarn! Both of these were the perfect combo to whip this up in record time. I think I worked on it on and off for only a few nights!
You can find all the yarn you need at JOANN stores! They had a ton of Go For Faux Thick & Quick colors to choose from. I was so excited when I came across the color “Zebra” because it reminded me of my dog- Fitzwilliam! If you’re not a fan of animal prints they also have a bunch of solid colors too.
When I got my hands on Lion Brand Merino Camel I knew immediately I wanted to make a matching beanie and fingerless mitt set. The super soft and fine yarn was perfect for the Midnight Dunes Set!
The colors reminded me of a nautical east coast chilly beach feel. I asked my followers on Instagram what they thought a good name would be and someone suggested The Midnight Dunes set! A really fitting name in my opinion!
This set is great for an advanced beginner. Maybe you already have the basics down and want to try out something a bit more challenging then scroll on down! You will be doing some color work and fun stitches.

I know i’m not the only one who likes the faux fur yarn, right? I know that the normal fur yarn can be super intimidating because it can be hard to see your stitches! Luckily, I have a solution for you! This yarn is called “off the hook” yarn which means you don’t need to use any hooks or needles! I designed a super easy tutorial to make a DIY Faux Fur Pillow for you!
You may be asking yourself, “How will we make something without a hook?!” Well, the answer is using our hands! The off the hook yarn has little loops all along the strand. You take these loops and pull another loop through to create your stitch.

I wanted a short sleeve cardigan to throw on in the morning when I got up. You know those hot summer days where the AC is blasting non stop so when you wake up first thing its freezing cold in the house?! That’s what the Sunday Morning Cardigan is for! I like to keep it by my bed and put it on while i’m making coffee and getting ready for the day.

I used Lion Brand Cobblestone yarn for the very first time for the Sunday Morning Cardigan. This yarn was amazing to work with. It’s soft and squishy with just a little bit of bounce when worked up! I love how quickly this cardigan worked up with the worsted weight yarn.

The Plant Lady Tote is made with Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton yarn. This is my favorite yarn to use to make sturdy bags and home decor. Not to mention it has so many gorgeous color options! Most recently, I used it for my Magical Market Tote.
If you haven’t tried tapestry crochet or any type of color-work before I definitely recommend checking out some tutorials and make a practice swatch! It can be a bit cumbersome switching back and fourth between colors at first. But with a little bit of practice you’ll be a pro in no time! It’s finally here! The Happy At Home Hoodie has been anticipated by so many of you and i’m so excited to release it. Sometimes you just have a design in mind that comes together exactly how you wanted it to and this was one of them! I pictured an oversized hoodie with wide ribbing and a soft lightweight feel. The slits on the side somehow make it even better than I imagined.
I used Lion Brand Coboo to make this hoodie. It’s one of my all time favorite yarns! You can check out The Bobble Crop Top which I made using Coboo. I also have some other designs coming soon using it!
I hope the Happy At Home Hoodie pattern brings you some much needed crochet therapy while we are all quarantined to our homes. It brought me so much joy to make and I know this will be one of my pieces i’m most proud of for years to come. I wanted to make something that was mindless but still looked amazing! Every once in a while I like to take a break from intense crochet designs that require a lot of math and attention. This Color Block Cape is definitely easy and mindless but still looks great!
This was the perfect pattern to chill out with and work on at the end of a long day. It uses double crochet stitch throughout and has very minimal seaming. I made it oversized enough so that it could be one size fits all! If you want it longer, you can easily add more rows before splitting off the front panels. Just be sure to add the same amount of rows to both front panels as well!
This is my second oversized garment using Lion Brand Basic Stitch. I have a poncho using it as well! You can check out the Cross Stripe Poncho here!
