Coastal Shores Wrap Crochet Pattern

Have you seen the beautiful Scarfie yarn colors that Lion Brand has? When I saw the Seafoam/Clay color I totally fell in love. I got some and decided to use it for a future project. That future project turned into the Coastal Shores Wrap! I actually worked on this design while I was visiting family at the beach. I played around with a few different stitch ideas but ultimately settled on a beautiful ripple stitch because it reminded me of the sunrise/sunset on the coast!

The way that the colors changed so perfectly in this project made me so happy. It really did give me warm, beachy sunset vibes. There is a ton of different color options in this yarn that I think would look so great!!

Once you get the stitch repeat down the Coastal Shores Wrap is a really relaxing project. It worked up so quickly for me and was really fun to do. If you need any extra help be sure to check out my video tutorial!

The Indigo Sun Wrap

I ordered some Lion Brand Pima Cotton on a whim a couple of months ago. I had no plans on what I wanted to make but I couldn’t say no to these colors. After picking out 4 favorites for my color palette I knew I would end up doing something with stripes. And that’s how the Indigo Sun Wrap was born!

The Indigo Sun Wrap was so relaxing and fun to make. All you need to do is crochet 2 rectangles and make one short seam to join them together! The pattern uses moss stitch. Moss stitch is one of my absolute favorites! This one is not worked in a way you are probably used to though. It’s actually worked up corner to corner instead of horizontal!

Im a huge fan of all things corner 2 corner. So when I found out you could make the moss stitch corner 2 corner I knew I had to design something with it! You can check out a couple of  my previous normal C2C designs here and here.

I also made a full video tutorial on the Indigo Sun Wrap as well! If you want a visual on how to make the moss c2c then this video will be perfect for you! View it here or scroll down to check it out!

Description:

If you love the moss stitch then this pattern is for you! Learn a new way to use this stitch by working it corner to corner. The gorgeous striping and bold colors make this wrap a statement piece.

The Dotted Wrap Crochet Pattern

I’m not usually one to make shawls or wraps but I thought this yarn would be perfect for a spring wrap! The Dotted Wrap uses a Fine (2) weight yarn which makes it perfect for a lighter spring accessory. I used the color “Blue Thunder” from the Dotted Line yarn by Lion Brand!

I was on the fence about making a triangle shawl but ultimately decided to go with something a little different than the norm! I’m really glad that I went with a parallelogram shape! Check out my Summer Nights Shawl! It’s the only other shawl/wrap i’ve designed.

I used a really fun and basic pattern repeat throughout the wrap. Once you get past the increase section it’s smooth sailing. Even the increase and decrease area are easy since you are only adding or taking a way 1 stitch on 1 side of your work.

Pattern: Summer Nights Shawl

Is it summer yet?! Nope, it’s not even spring yet. lol. I’m hoping that if I make all of the warm weather things it will force the sunshine to come. Let’s see if it works. 🙂 The Summer Nights Shawl is a super fun and quick make to work up while you’re netflixing. It’s a very easy mesh stitch with a simple repeat row. It’s worked up double stranded with the light and superfine yarn. If you don’t have both yarns available, I recommend using just a basic worsted weight yarn!

Be sure to follow me on Instagram and tag me with your finished shawl! I love to share your work with my followers. 🙂
