Pattern: The Sunny Slouch

I was recently given the chance to try out some new yarn and I love it! It’s a gorgeous 100% baby alpaca light weight yarn. The Andeansun website has so many pretty yarns to try out so be sure to take a look! I decided on the color “sunset”. It’s a beautiful yellow color and when you look up close it has small flecks of green. I wanted to make something fun with a simple stitch so that the yarn could really shine in this project. A while back I made my “basic chunky slouch” beanie and thought that a re-make of the pattern with a lighter yarn would be perfect for it!

This beanie is very customizable size wise. Simply make the starting foundation row as long as you want it. The longer the row the more “slouch” your beanie will have. Work as many rows as you need for the hat to fit around your head. I’ll include a rough estimate for amount of rows needed but you can easily adjust it.

Materials:

  • Light (3) weight yarn. I used Andeansun baby alpaca in the color “sunset” Approximately 70(90,120,150,190) grams.
  • 4.00mm crochet hook
  • yarn needle

Pattern: The French Moss Top

Hi everyone! Im SO excited to share with you guys the pattern for my French Moss Top! This is my very first Tunisian crochet pattern I am releasing so i’m a bit nervous. This was also my very first youtube tutorial! When Lion Brand Yarn contacted me to offer yarn support on a pattern, I decided I wanted to do something completely different. I wanted to challenge myself and do something outside of my comfort zone. I think I ended up doing exactly that! I found out through this process that I actually really liked recording my tutorial. It is a lot of work and more time consuming but it was also really fun. Im already starting my second video! It’s far from perfect and I have a lot to learn but thats how we grow right?!

I would love for you all to subscribe to my youtube channel for more videos!

You can add the cute little picots around the bottom, or leave them out for an even easier project.

Pattern: Men’s Team Colors Beanie

Every fall my husband asks for a new beanie to wear. This year he requested one with his football teams colors! This pattern is perfect for customizing to your favorite football team colors! Sean likes his beanies slouchy and stretchy. This one is really fast to make, it’s worked in rows to form a rectangle and then sewn together at the end. You can make it as slouchy or as fitted as you want by making your starting Ch longer or shorter. It’s also really easy to customize the colors you want and add as many colors as you would like!

Materials Needed:

  • Worsted Weight yarn in 3 or 4 colors.
  • 6.00mm crochet hook
  • Yarn Needle

Notes:

This hat is worked in rows and then sewn at the end to form the hat.

Pattern: Bobbles And Rows Pillow

If you haven’t tried Bernat mix home yarn yet, you need to! I picked up a couple of skeins on one of my many shopping trips to Michael’s. I can’t resist when I see a new yarn! I made my pillow case big enough to fit an old 18×18 pillow. However, if you want it bigger or smaller, it’s really easy to customize by shortening or lengthening the starting chain.

Be sure to follow and tag me on Instagram with your Bobbles and Rows pillows so i can see!

Pattern: Chubby Bunny Amigurumi

Easter is just around the corner, so I decided to make a quick bunny! He ended up being a chubby little guy hence the name, Chubby Bunny 🙂 I LOVE the Angel Hair yarn used to make this bunny. It’s the same yarn I use to make this adorable lamb hat.  Super soft and fluffy, if you haven’t tried it, you need to!

Pattern: Cozy Slipper Socks

I love slippers and always seem to be buying cute pairs when I make target runs, ordering them from amazon and I always seem to be browsing for the latest MukLuks. My 2 year old pup recently stole one of my favorite pairs and proceeded to destroy them in the backyard. Sigh… he’s lucky he’s cute. Which leads me to making and writing up this pattern for Cozy Slipper Socks to add to my collection. 🙂

This pattern will fit and average sized adult female foot. I am a size 8 and made it to fit me perfectly. If you want a smaller or bigger pair just add more rows where indicated. Don’t be afraid to play around with the sizing!

Pattern: Granny Square Crop Top

I’ve never liked the cold and only enjoy snow during the holidays, so I can not wait for summer! I decided to make a crop top and of course had to add some colorful granny squares. This pattern is pretty simple. If you can make a granny square and know how to single crochet, then you can make this top!
