The Arpeggio Set Crochet Pattern

I can’t believe i’m releasing my final crochet pattern of 2024 today! Where did the year go? The Arpeggio Set crochet pattern will be my last pattern release until 2025.

This was such a fun year of crochet for me. I hope you enjoyed some of my patterns and will continue to do so in 2025! Thank you guys so much for all the support you have shown. I am truly grateful for all of you!

The Arpeggio Set crochet pattern uses the same stitches as my Echoes Cardigan. The Echoes Cardigan was a big hit and one of my best patterns of the year. While I was working it up I noticed on some of the rows how the sts would pop with the mandala color changes. I wanted to incorporate that into the beanie and scarf by switching back and fourth in colors every 2 rows. I absolutely love the result!

The Pop Of Love Beanie

I’m sure you have already heard about Hat Not Hate but if not, let me tell ya about it! Hat Not Hate is an anti-bullying campaign by Lion Brand! I’m sure we’ve all experienced being bullied at some point growing up. It’s not fun at all and can be to an extreme amount for some kids! Hat Not Hate is a “craftivist” movement to actively eradicate bullying!

So what do you do? Make a blue hat that fits head sizes 16-20″ in circumference (ages 5-18) and donate it to Lion Brand! October is national bullying prevention month. The hats that are donated will be distributed to kids in school across the country! A total of 58,248 hats have been made and donated so far!! Let’s get that number even higher!

Check out the Hat Not Hate website for all the info you need on where and how to donate a hat!

I designed a crochet pattern- The Pop Of Love Beanie for Hat Not Hate! This beanie is really quick and fun to work up. The circumference is about 18″ which fits the Hat Not Hat criteria for donation! I used popcorn stitches in the pattern which are really fun to make and give it a cute texture. I also designed the Be Kind Beanie a couple years ago which is also available on my blog!

Pattern: Newborn Beanie

I spent a lot of time crocheting newborn hats when I was pregnant with my second daughter. I wanted to share the super easy pattern! All 5 of these hats are the same pattern with different things added to them. You can see in the picture that the hat with the bear ears is a bit bigger because the yarn I used is a bit chunkier. I used bulky 6 for it and bulky 5 for the other four hats. So, I recommend using a 5 if your making for a newborn and 6 if its for an older baby.
