Did you know October is national bullying prevention month? I designed a super simple blue hat using Lion Brand Jeans yarn in support of it! The 2 rows of puffs are symbolic for the equality sign. It uses less than 1 skein of yarn too! I hope you join me in making one to wear this October! Be sure to tag me and lion brand with your hats on Instagram and use the hashtag #hatnothate to show off your make!

Your ribbing should be about 18” across. For a bigger or smaller hat, add or remove rows here by multiples of 2 before moving on.
Join your first and last row together by slip stitching across. Turn your ribbing correct side out so the seam is now on the inside. You will now begin to work in the round for the body of the hat.
