I’ll be sharing a new design called “Daffodils In The Snow” Pillow. I was sent some beautiful hand-dyed yarn from the artist Alyssa from “Yarn For The Masses”. Did you know October is national bullying prevention month? I designed a super simple blue hat using Lion Brand Jeans yarn in support of it! The 2 rows of puffs are symbolic for the equality sign. I’ve been eyeing this super chunky yarn from Hobby Lobby for a loooong time. I really wanted to make a chunky crochet blanket for myself but could never get myself to buy all the yarn required. When I saw it go on sale for only 4.89 I decided to go for it! It took a total of 13 Ivory skeins and 2 grey. I know it can be difficult to force yourself to buy so much yarn at once but I promise it will be worth it! This is definitely the coziest blanket ever and the yarn is a dream to work with. SO soft!

I was recently requested to write up a pattern for a kids fringe crop top! Even though it’s only 50 degrees out today it’s hot in other parts of the world right?! 🙂 So the fringe crop top was born! I think it’s definitely a crochet pattern staple to have when you have little ones running around. It’s super cute for photo shoots or to just wear outside during the hot summer days. I included 3 different sizes but it is VERY easy to adjust even further if you need to. To make it wider, add more chains to the starting chain. To make it longer or shorter, add or take away rows.

I love slippers and always seem to be buying cute pairs when I make target runs, ordering them from amazon and I always seem to be browsing for the latest MukLuks. My 2 year old pup recently stole one of my favorite pairs and proceeded to destroy them in the backyard. Sigh… he’s lucky he’s cute. Which leads me to making and writing up this pattern for Cozy Slipper Socks to add to my collection. 🙂
This pattern will fit and average sized adult female foot. I am a size 8 and made it to fit me perfectly. If you want a smaller or bigger pair just add more rows where indicated. Don’t be afraid to play around with the sizing!

I’ve never liked the cold and only enjoy snow during the holidays, so I can not wait for summer! I decided to make a crop top and of course had to add some colorful granny squares. This pattern is pretty simple. If you can make a granny square and know how to single crochet, then you can make this top!

A quick and easy heart headband pattern to make for your little ones for Valentine’s Day (or any day!) It’s really cute and also a great pattern to practice color changes! You can easily adjust this headband to fit a larger head by adding more chains in the beginning and end. I chained enough so it would fit my 9 month old daughter.

So originally this was going to be a top for my 8 month old daughter, but when my 3 year old saw it she just HAD to try it on. It turned out to be a super cute toddler crop top AND adorable baby top all in one! My straps are a bit on the shorter side for my 3 year old so if your top is going to be a toddler I suggest making them a bit longer.
