Pattern: The Marshmallow Pillow

My friends over at BeCozi sent me some of their ahhhhmazing Jumbo Chenille Yarn recently. I knew right away that I wanted to make a huge, squishy pillow with it! So the Marshmallow pillow was born! I used just under 5 skeins to make it and it ends up being a really decent size. I also was lucky enough to have an unused pillow insert that I was able to use (18×18″). I hope you guys like the Marshmallow Pillow! Be sure to tag me on Instagram if you make it so I can share your work. 🙂

Materials:

Notes:

  • This pillow is made in 2 separate panels and crocheted together to join.

Stitches and Abbreviations:

  • Ch- Chain
  • Sc- Single Crochet
  • BLO- Back Loop Only
  • FLO- Front Loop Only

Finished Size:

22×22″ (I used an 18″ pillow insert)

Pattern(make 2):

Ch 11

Row 1: 1 Sc in second Ch from hook and each Ch across. Turn. (10 Sc)

Row 2: Ch 1. 1 Sc (FLO) in each St across. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 1. 1 Sc (BLO) in each St across. Turn.

Row 4-7: Repeat rows 2&3.

After the second panel is made, do not tie off. Place both panels together, correct sides out. Putting your hook through both the front and back panel, single crochet evenly around. Work 2 Sc into each corner to help “turn” your work and create a corner. When you reach the last side, stuff your pillow with Poly-fil OR use a pillow insert. Sc across to finish. Sl St into the first Sc to join. Tie off.
