Pattern: Granny Stripes Table Runner
I was recently given some gorgeous rainbow cotton yarn from Hobbii Yarn! I decided something with granny stripes would look super cute with all of the colors! This mini table runner fits perfectly on the playroom table. You can easily adjust the width and length to make it any size! I was soooo close to changing my mind and making a little blanket but I didn’t have enough yarn. 🙂
Materials:
- Hobbii Cotton Yarn- Weight of (3). I used less than 1 skein of each color. (about 160 yards of 5 different colors)
- 4.00mm Crochet Hook
- Yarn Needle
Notes:
- Pattern is worked in multiples of 3 + 1.
- Adjust the starting Ch to make your project longer or shorter.
- I changed my yarn color every 2 rows.
Finished Size: 12″ X 36″
Stitches and Abbreviations:Â
Ch- Chain
Dc- Double Crochet
Sk- Skip
Hdc- Half Double Crochet
Sp- Space
Pattern:
Ch 115
Row 1: Work 1 Dc into the 4th Ch from the hook. *Sk 2 Ch’s, 3 Dc into following Ch* Repeat From *to* across the row until you reach the last 3 Ch’s. 2 Dc in last Ch. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3. Work 3 Dc into each Sp across the row. End with 1 Dc into the top of the Ch 2. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 3. 1 Dc in first Sp. Work 3 Dc in each Sp across row. 2 Dc in last Sp. Turn.
Repeat Rows 2&3 until you reach desired length.
Join yarn at any corner of your work, Work Hdc evenly around. Be sure to work 3 Hdc into each corner. Tie off. Weave in all ends.
