Pattern: Granny Stripes Table Runner

I was recently given some gorgeous rainbow cotton yarn from Hobbii Yarn! I decided something with granny stripes would look super cute with all of the colors! This mini table runner fits perfectly on the playroom table. You can easily adjust the width and length to make it any size! I was soooo close to changing my mind and making a little blanket but I didn’t have enough yarn. 🙂

Pattern: Daffodils In The Snow Pillow

I’m excited to be participating in the 2019 Celebrate Mom Blog Hop hosted by Pattern Paradise! Each day in May, a different crochet designer will be featured and share a new free pattern with you! There are lots of fun prizes too, so come join the fun! For the list of designers and all the details, go to this post => 2019 Celebrate Mom Blog Hop & Giveaway

I’ll be sharing a new design called “Daffodils In The Snow” Pillow. I was sent some beautiful hand-dyed yarn from the artist Alyssa from “Yarn For The Masses”. The colorway I picked out is called Daffodils In The Snow and I thought it was the perfect name for my pillow too! If you want to check out more of the hand dyed yarn, take a look here!

I’m so excited to see everyones pillow! Be sure to tag me on Instagram so I can see. 🙂

Materials:

  • Worsted (4) weight yarn. Yards needed-
  • 5.00mm Crochet Hook
  • Yarn Needle
  • Poly-Fil Stuffing or a 16″ pillow insert.

Pattern: The Sunny Slouch

I was recently given the chance to try out some new yarn and I love it! It’s a gorgeous 100% baby alpaca light weight yarn. The Andeansun website has so many pretty yarns to try out so be sure to take a look! I decided on the color “sunset”. It’s a beautiful yellow color and when you look up close it has small flecks of green. I wanted to make something fun with a simple stitch so that the yarn could really shine in this project. A while back I made my “basic chunky slouch” beanie and thought that a re-make of the pattern with a lighter yarn would be perfect for it!

This beanie is very customizable size wise. Simply make the starting foundation row as long as you want it. The longer the row the more “slouch” your beanie will have. Work as many rows as you need for the hat to fit around your head. I’ll include a rough estimate for amount of rows needed but you can easily adjust it.

Materials:

  • Light (3) weight yarn. I used Andeansun baby alpaca in the color “sunset” Approximately 70(90,120,150,190) grams.
  • 4.00mm crochet hook
  • yarn needle

Pattern: Jumbo Crochet Floor Pouf

My friends over at Becozi sent me this really cool jumbo tube yarn! This is my first time using a yarn this big and I loved it. I ended up using my hands/arms to crochet the floor pouf instead of a hook. If you would rather use a hook instead, a 30.00mm size should work perfectly! This pouf works up super quickly…like 20 minutes quickly. It’s also easy to customize for a larger pouf. 🙂

Pattern: Cross-Back Crochet Top

I wanted something loose and comfy to throw on over a sports bra for coverage but didn’t want to be dying of heat! It’s 100 degrees in the summertime here in Utah so the Cross-Back Crochet Top worked out perfectly. I used Lion Brand 24/7 cotton but any cotton yarn will work. It works out perfectly for active wear but it would be super cute dressed up with a pair of jeans too! This pattern is super easy and uses Dc throughout. A larger hook is used for more of a loose fit so be sure to size up if you crochet with a tight tension.

Make sure you subscribe for more free patterns! Don’t forget to pin my pattern to your Pinterest boards as well! Follow me on Instagram and tag me with your finished work. I love sharing your makes!

Materials:

  • Yarn Needle

Pattern: American Flag Pillow

I’ve had a lot of fun experimenting with Tunisian Crochet. One of my favorite stitches to use is the knit stitch. I absolutely love how it looks while incorporating color work! I used Bernat Maker Outdoor for this project and the yarn is amazing let me tell ya!! If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely give it a go! If you have never done Tunisian crochet, don’t worry!! I have video help included! Just click the video link below and it will take you to my youtube channel.

Pattern: Crochet Fringe Crop Top

I was recently requested to write up a pattern for a kids fringe crop top! Even though it’s only 50 degrees out today it’s hot in other parts of the world right?! 🙂 So the fringe crop top was born! I think it’s definitely a crochet pattern staple to have when you have little ones running around. It’s super cute for photo shoots or to just wear outside during the hot summer days. I included 3 different sizes but it is VERY easy to adjust even further if you need to. To make it wider, add more chains to the starting chain. To make it longer or shorter, add or take away rows.

Be sure to follow and tag me on Instagram (@evelynandpeter) with all your fringe crop top makes!

Materials:

  • Worsted (4) weight cotton yarn. 50-80 yards depending on size made. I used Paintbox cotton yarn.
  • 4.00mm crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
