Twist Of Summer Tank

I’m back again with another summer design! This time I made a square neck style tank top with Coboo yarn called The Twist Of Summer Tank! This design is definitely beginner friendly and a very easy make. I used the Lemon Peel stitch to work up the main body of this top. I love the beautiful texture this stitch creates, it’s one of my all time favorites! You might recognize it from my Harvest Pullover!

The Twist Of Summer Tank is worked up in 2 panels from the bottom up. You will create the ribbing first and then rotate to work the main body. Each panel is exactly the same. Next we will sew the panels together, add a quick trim and then crochet the straps!

It’s also super customizable. You can easily add some rows to make it a longer length top or remove rows for a more cropped look! Just adjust the length before tying off your panels.

New to crochet? Well no worries at all because I have a full video tutorial available! I’ll walk you through from start to finish on your own Twist Of Summer Tank!

The Windfall Cardigan Crochet Pattern

Have you ever crocheted a cardigan in one piece from side to side before? I’ve done a few different designs like this and I’m super excited to introduce The Windfall Cardigan which is made the same way! One of the great things about it is very minimal seaming. There is only one small section on both sides of the cardigan that you need to seam!

I used Lion Brand Nuboo yarn to make this cardigan but I think it would also look great in a cotton yarn! The Nuboo is very silky and smooth. It is similar to Truboo with a bit more of a bounce and a little bit thicker! Can’t find any Nuboo or want to use a different yarn? Check out Yarnsub.com and enter in “Nuboo” in the search. It will bring up a ton of different yarn substitutions for you to choose from.

I have a full video tutorial available for this cardigan. If at any point you get confused or stuck I recommend checking out the video to see if I answer your question there! If you find it helpful I would be so grateful for a thumbs up and subscribe!

The Zahora Cardigan Crochet Pattern

With the warm weather finally here, I’ve been wanting to make all the summer cardigans! I love working with open lace type stitches. Not only do they look super cute but they usually work up really quickly too. The Zahora Cardigan checks off both of these boxes!

I always aim for my designs to be beginner friendly and this one is no different. You will be creating 3 panels and working from the bottom up. Don’t let the picot stitches scare you! It actually goes really quickly. This cardigan is also easily customized. If you want your cardigan longer just be sure to add more rows in multiples of 2 before tying off your panel. Be sure you add the same amount of rows to each panel. If you want a more oversized look, just size up.

I love throwing on my Zahora Cardigan with any summer outfit. I think it looks super cute with jean shorts and a tee but would also be adorable over a summer dress. If I have time I’m totally going to make a longer version to wear over my bikini at the pool this summer!

The Clarissa Tee Crochet Pattern

Surprise! I’ve been keeping this pattern a secret for a few months and i’m excited to finally release it into the world! The Clarissa Tee is a super easy and fun pattern. I have been wanting to make an off the shoulder style tee but still be able to be worn on both shoulders if desired!

The Clarissa Tee features a wide boat neck style neckline. I think it looks super cute paired with a lacy bralette underneath. It definitely gives me some retro vibes! I just need a side ponytail and some leggings to go with it now! haha! I tied it up with a little hair tie for some of the photos and just love the look of it!

This top has a mid length cut. If you are the type that likes longer style shirts then I definitely recommend adding some rows in before you start the neckline and shoulder shaping. I’m wearing the size small in photos and do not have any extra length added. Remember, you will need extra yarn if you add rows!

I have a full video tutorial for this top so be sure to check it out!

The Midnight Dunes Set

When I got my hands on Lion Brand Merino Camel I knew immediately I wanted to make a matching beanie and fingerless mitt set. The super soft and fine yarn was perfect for the Midnight Dunes Set!

The colors reminded me of a nautical east coast chilly beach feel. I asked my followers on Instagram what they thought a good name would be and someone suggested The Midnight Dunes set! A really fitting name in my opinion!

This set is great for an advanced beginner. Maybe you already have the basics down and want to try out something a bit more challenging then scroll on down! You will be doing some color work and fun stitches.

I even made full VIDEO tutorials for both the beanie and the mitts! So if your still new to crocheting you can follow right along! You can find the beanie video here and the mitt video here!

DIY Faux Fur Pillow- Off The Hook Yarn

I know i’m not the only one who likes the faux fur yarn, right? I know that the normal fur yarn can be super intimidating because it can be hard to see your stitches! Luckily, I have a solution for you! This yarn is called “off the hook” yarn which means you don’t need to use any hooks or needles! I designed a super easy tutorial to make a DIY Faux Fur Pillow for you!

You may be asking yourself, “How will we make something without a hook?!” Well, the answer is using our hands! The off the hook yarn has little loops all along the strand. You take these loops and pull another loop through to create your stitch.

I wanted to have a super easy tutorial so you guys could get a feel for it. I created the DIY Faux Fur Pillow tutorial! You can watch the full video where I walk you through making the pillow step by step!

The Streetlight Cardigan Crochet Pattern

Is it really that time again? The Countdown To Christmas Campaign with Lion Brand has begun and I’m so excited to once again be featured in it! This year I’m sharing the Streetlight Cardigan with you guys!

This cozy bomber style cardigan flew off my hook not even kidding. It was SO quick to make because I used a bulky weight yarn! I also wanted it to be beginner friendly so there isn’t really anything tricky in this design either. I designed it for sizes XS-5X but it’s also really easy to customize your length if you wanted to!

You might notice the Streetlight Cardigan is a little similar to the pattern I made last year for this campaign- The Cozy Boyfriend Cardigan. What can I say, I have a thing for grey I guess! haha.

The Moonstone Throw Crochet Pattern

The Moonstone Throw crochet pattern is heeeeere! This one was so much fun for me to make. I wanted something simple that was easy enough for a beginner but also wasn’t toooo simple that it would be boring.

Each different color uses the same stitch throughout the blanket. And the blanket is actually only 4 big repeats of the same section! If you like to always have a big project to work on in your WIP rotation then you definitely have to start the Moonstone Throw.

Have you used Lion Brand Pound Of Love before? If not, you have got to give it a shot! This yarn is perfect for blankets in my opinion. It comes in a HUGE skein…a whole pound! It’s also super affordable for all of that yarn. Only $11.69 for an entire 1,020 yards. That is craaaaazy! Also, it has so many cute color options!!

You guys know that I’m blanket obsessed. Here are a couple other free blanket patterns- The Hello Sunshine Afghan and The Draped In Dogs Afghan.

Description:

The Moonstone Throw crochet pattern is a fun beginner blanket with an easy color and stitch repeat. The stripes are modern and fit with any home decor.

Saltwater Taffy Tee Crochet Pattern

I really can’t get enough of Lion Brand Truboo yarn. After making my Sweetpea Top with it, I knew I had to use it again! Since I had already used it before I knew whatever I was making would be super silky and drape perfectly. The Saltwater Taffy Tee was so fun to make!

I wanted to change things up a bit with the construction of this top so I decided to work the pattern vertically from side to side instead of bottom up! Have you ever made a crochet top this way before? I love the vertical striping of the stitches, I think it’s so slimming and works well on all body types!

The Saltwater Taffy Tee also uses 3 different colors of yarn. There are so many different color combos you could use that would turn out so cute! If you purchase the kit from Lionbrand.com you can pick any color you want and customize your own top!

Sunday Morning Cardigan

I wanted a short sleeve cardigan to throw on in the morning when I got up. You know those hot summer days where the AC is blasting non stop so when you wake up first thing its freezing cold in the house?! That’s what the Sunday Morning Cardigan is for! I like to keep it by my bed and put it on while i’m making coffee and getting ready for the day.

I think The Sunday Morning Cardigan would be SO cute over a little sundress. Maybe somebody will decide to take some photos wearing it? 😉 Make sure you tag me on Instagram so I can share your work!

I used Lion Brand Cobblestone yarn for the very first time for the Sunday Morning Cardigan. This yarn was amazing to work with. It’s soft and squishy with just a little bit of bounce when worked up! I love how quickly this cardigan worked up with the worsted weight yarn.
