When I saw Lion Brands new Botanic yarn I knew I had to design something summery, delicate and romantic. I wanted some sort of lace stitches incorporated but also wanted this top to be functional. I ended up with The Summer Blush Tank Crochet Pattern!
This was such a blast to make. My favorite part is the neckline. I was a little worried when I started the design on how to achieve the cinched in sweetheart look for it. But surprisingly, it came together almost immediately with only 1 rework to get it right. It’s kind of amazing what can be done with just a few minor adjustments!
It’s also crocheted from the top down and is very easy to customize to your liking. You can add or remove as many rows to the upper half of your top. Every body is different so you may need a little more or less coverage than the suggested amount in the pattern. Once you move onto the lace rows you can also add or remove as many rows in multiples of 2 that you would like. So if you want a longer tank just add more! If you want a cute cropped look, remove some rows! You can’t mess it up!
I have a full video tutorial available if you are a visual learner and a lion brand kit if you plan on purchasing yarn. The botanic yarn has a bunch of pretty colors available.
It’s time to add another design to the beloved Daisy Day Collection! We started off with the Daisy Day Throw, then added the Daisy Day Tote and now finally The Daisy Day Cardigan crochet pattern!
I wanted to add a little bit of a fun detail to the cardigan so I decided on granny stripes around the bottom hem and sleeves! After that, it’s all Single Crochet stitch and doing some colorwork to create the daisies! If you have already made the Daisy Day Tote and/or the throw blanket you will already be familiar with these flowers. I created a fourth size flower for this design as well. If you are new to changing color frequently and carrying yarn in your project then I recommend checking out my video tutorial or practicing with a small swatch before beginning your cardiganI ended up creating “floats” on the back of my work in the flower sections. You do have the option to crochet directly over the yarn as you carry it along the flower but the colors might peek through to the front a bit.
I used coboo yarn for this design! It’s a really soft light weight cotton yarn from lion brand. It has a bunch of beautiful color choices as well. The Daisy Day Cardigan crochet pattern is a kit with them! So if you plan on buying yarn, check out the kit here and you’ll receive a free copy of the printable pattern download as well.
Cardigans and pullovers are definitely my favorite thing to design but bags are not far behind! You can never have too many cute bags right? The Sunny Cinch Satchel just might be your next favorite!
I love a good cotton yarn for crochet bags and purses. Pima Cotton has always been one of my favorites so I decided to use it for my bag but wanted to hold the yarn double stranded for extra sturdiness! Let me tell ya, I am obsessed with how it turned out! The yarn is soft and so nice to work with! Plus, this bag works up even faster with the double thickness!
If you plan on buying yarn I recommend checking out my lion brand kit! It comes with a free copy of the ad-free printable pattern and you can customize your yarn color. Subscribe to my newsletter to find out about 30% off sales!
I love when a new yarn is released! I was so excited to try the Lazy Days yarn when I first saw it. I was able to feel it in store and noticed how squishy it was! Something about the name being lazy days and the color Bluebell screamed summer to me so I knew I had to make a summer design. I also wanted you to be able to wear it year round with layering and that’s how The Coastal Belle Crop crochet pattern was born!
Because the yarn is so squishy with amazing bounce I wanted to use an open lace style stitch for my design. I ended up using V-sts but decided to use Tr sts in them instead of the typical single or double crochet. Every other row I popped a picot St in the V Sts instead of a Ch 1. I think it adds such a cute little extra detail!
The Coastal Belle Crop crochet pattern is worked from side to side. If you want to have a longer top be sure to check my notes and adjust your starting row. If you want your top wider or more fitting you can add less rows to the main panels! The sleeves are worked top down so they are easy to adjust as well. If you need them longer or shorter just add or remove rows in multiples of 2. This is a drop shoulder style top so the bigger the size you are making the shorter the sleeves will be because the seam hits lower on the bicep.
Give me all the cute little bows!! This blanket is perfect for all the girly bow fans out there! The Clara Throw crochet pattern is a C2C design and so fun to work up.
I’ve been seeing so many cute bow sweaters and beautiful bow hair clips recently and I knew I had to make a bow C2C design. The Clara Throw is worked from the bottom right corner to the top left corner. The pattern below includes both the written rows and the graph for easy stitching.
If you aren’t familiar with C2C it’s basically crocheting little squares out of Dc stitches over and over again, working diagonally! It is super addicting in my opinion and you can make so many fun things! Check out some of my past C2C designs like The Daisy Day Throw and The Mushroom Medley Throw!
Once the sun starts shining and the blooms start to poke out I always get the urge to make a summer garment! I knew I wanted it to be meshy and airy as well as having a cute tie feature in the front. The Ocean Tied Cardi crochet pattern quickly came to life!
I played around with a bunch of different mesh stitches and decided to combine a whole bunch of them into one design! It actually came together pretty easily with very minimal swatching and frogging! It’s like it was meant to be. The majority of The Ocean Tied Cardi uses double crochet stitches and chains so it works up quickly. It’s also easily adjustable if you want yours longer or shorter. Just add or remove rows to the end of each panel before fastening off.
I think its sooo cute with the little tie in the front, it really makes the design in my opinion! However, if you want to keep it off and wear it as an open cardigan, then you can easily do that! Just add the final trim and don’t follow the instructions for the tie at the end.
I had so much designing The Cade Crossbody. Why? Because it’s part of a collab with my yarn bestie Meghan from Meghanmakesdo! I made the crochet version and she made the knit version! It’s always nice to have options so maybe if you are seeing this but you are a knitter, than be sure to check out her blog!
The Cade Crossbody crochet pattern is actually pretty simple. It’s 2 rectangles sewn together and a long strap added last! You’ll add the strap on with a unique twist to give it the slanted fold over look. To give your bag some shape, you will be tacking/sewing the corners up into a triangle point when you add the strap. Once side is sewn further up than the other. That’s it!
When Meghan showed me the knit stitch she was going to use for her bag, I knew I would have to do some swatching and figure out how to get my crochet version looking similar! I tried a bunch of different stitch combinations. Finally I settled with a combo of Sc, Sl St and surface stitches to give the look you see here! There will be some ends on your rectangle panels. But don’t worry!! Most of them you will crochet right over, so don’t let the ends scare you! Just check out the notes section or watch the video tutorial!
Time to wrap up and get extra cozy in The Woodlands Blanket Wrap crochet pattern! The Woodlands Blanket Wrap, is oversized and easy to make. I wanted to be able to wear a big ol’ blanket wrap around the house but still have my hands available to do things, like crochet! Haha!
This wrap is made in one piece. You’ll start on the bottom of the back side and work in rows up, split the neckline and work the first front side. Then you’ll go back and attach your yarn to the other side to make the second front panel. The pockets can easily be left out if you prefer not to have them. Simply continue with the normal stitch repeat.
You will be using an entire 2 skeins of Pound Of Love yarn from Lion Brand. If you make any adjustments to the wrap (like adding rows) you will need to get a third skein of yarn. I used the color Sugar Cookie for mine but there are soooo many cute colors to chose from. This yarn is also very soft and easy to work with. Even better, you have less ends to weave in because you only use 2 skeins! You can find the kit here, which includes all the yarn and a free copy of the pdf digital download of the pattern.
I was sooooo excited to see that shrug and bolero style sweaters were starting to become popular again! They are one of my favorite styles so I knew I had to design one, which is exactly what I did! I’m so excited to share The Tilda Shrug crochet pattern with you all!
I stepped out of my comfort zone a bit with this one in terms of shaping. You’ll find some short rows around the opening of the shrug as well as increase shaping within the rows of the sleeves! The Tilda Shrug is worked in 2 separate mirrored panels. You will then do a small seam up the back as well as under the arms.
I used wool ease recycled yarn for this project and loved it! This was my first time using it and it worked up so well. The Tilda Shrug crochet pattern is a kit so if you need yarn I recommend checking it out! If you are intimidated with making the Tilda Shrug crochet pattern be sure to check out the video tutorial! Thank you guys so much for subscribing!

Let’s kick off the new year with a brand new crochet design, The Star-Crossed Cardigan Crochet Pattern! I wanted to start off strong with a cardigan design using Heartland yarn. You might remember my Stony Shore Cardigan and my Kiah Cardigan, both are very popular and well loved and both use Heartland yarn! I knew I needed something to add to the collection of my popular cardigans!
The Star-Crossed Cardigan crochet pattern is very beginner friendly and uses basic shapes. Once you nail the “double crosses spike” stitch you will work this cardigan up easy peasy! It’s basically a combination of all double crochet stitches with the ribbing using single crochet. You will work the panels from the bottom up and sew together.
Did you notice the Star-Crossed Cardigan crochet pattern has pockets?! The best part is that the pocket swatch is your gauge swatch. So feel free to jump ahead in the pattern and make a pocket swatch before starting. You will then use that swatch to measure 4×4″ within. Save it for later when you are required to seam to the inside of your cardigan!
