Pattern: Timber Pup Pullover

After I made The Timber Pullover, I knew I had to make one for Petey too. The Timber Pup Pullover is here! Now, Im going to be honest. I haven’t made any dog clothing before so the sizing estimates on this are suuuuuper guesstimates. 🙂 I wrote this pattern a bit differently and made several suggestions on where you might need to alter the pattern. Don’t be scared to try it on your dog a million times to check sizing! Though if they are anything like my Petey boy, they wont be too happy about it lol!

Materials:

  • Super Bulky (6) yarn. Pattern uses Lion Brand Go For Faux (Chinchilla) Or an equivalent “furry/fuzzy” yarn. (homespun thick and quick is a substitution example.) Amount needed- 1(2,4,5,7,8,9) skeins
  • Bulky (5) yarn. Pattern uses Lion Brand Color Made Easy.
  • 6.00mm Crochet Hook
  • 8.00mm Crochet Hook
  • Yarn Needle

Notes:

  • This pattern is made starting from the collar and working your way down.
  • You will join with a Sl St and Ch 1 after each round in the body.
  • You will need to try the coat on your dog multiple times throughout the pattern. There are so many different sizes of dogs so you will most likely have to make slight adjustments to your size.
  • You can add or take away rows/rounds anywhere needed.
