Summer is in full swing here and I knew I needed to design a comfy tank top to wear! The Racing Summer Tank crochet pattern is light weight, soft and quick to make! It has a cropped look to it but you can easily make it as long as you want! It’s racerback style on the back with spaghetti straps!
I used your typical single crochet V-St for this tank top. What’s a V Stitch? Sc, Ch 1, Sc all into the same space! You will work your V St into the V from the row below! Then just repeat throughout the pattern. Easy peasy. If you want a bit more length just repeat the V St row right before the shaping on the front panel. Be sure to add the same amount of rows to the back as well.
Pair it with some cute jean shorts or a long flowy skirt! The Coboo yarn I used comes in so many nice colors, so you have tons of options! Grabbing the kit from Lion Brand is such a good deal. I love the soft romantic vibes that The Wendy Cardigan gives. Somebody suggested the name Wendy for it on my name contest because it reminded them of Peter Pan and I totally see it. 🙂 It’s light weight and made of soft cotton which makes it perfect for warm weather. I’m excited to pair mine over sundresses this summer!
The Wendy Cardigan is worked from the bottom up in 3 separate panels. You can easily adjust the length of your cardigan by adding or taking away rows before you begin to decrease on the front panels. Make sure you adjust the same amount of rows on the back panel as well. I think this cardigan would look SO cute cropped. If you make a cropped version I would love to see it!
The stitch used in this cardigan is very similar to the classic V stitch but it does not have the Ch 1 in between the 2 Dc stitches. This is a great pattern to make and not have to use much brain power on the stitches! It’s just Dc stitches across the row, working them in between the 2 Dc from the previous row!

This is a new one for me and I hope you guys like it as much as I do! I’ve never made a hooded cowl before but it has definitely always been something on my “must design” list. I drew some inspo from the classic granny stitch and combined it with some retro looking colors! It’ll keep you super warm and cozy that’s for sure!
This design is worked from the bottom up! For the cowl portion you will work in turned rounds using the granny stripe stitch. Once you reach the hood portion you will work in turned rows. I recommend cutting and joining your yarn for the cowl. When you reach the hood, no need to cut your yarn. Just pick it up the side when you need to switch colors. The trim to the hood is added last. Make sure you thread your drawstring as you go to make it easier on yourself!
I used Basic Stitch Anti-Pilling yarn for my Into The Woods Cowl. They have some really nice color options too! If you purchase the Lion Brand kit you can switch out your color choices! The kit also comes with a complimentary digital download of my pattern!
It’s the most wonderful time of year! Well…almost!! But you can never start preparing too early! I don’t know about you guys but I love having a bit of handmade Christmas in my home. I always wanted to make a garland for my fireplace so I thought The Woodland Christmas Garland would be the perfect project to share with you all!
The Woodland Christmas Garland is a combination of mushrooms, trees, stockings and pompoms! I’ve been seeing mushroom decor all over the place lately so that is kind of what inspired this theme for my garland! I added some really cute woodland animals from JOANN, a cute mushroom snowglobe, some floral picks, and a really cute sign too! Along with that I draped a second garland from JOANN on my mantle with my crochet version for a double garland look!
Making the garland is really simple. You can mix and match any worsted weight yarn colors that you like. I went with the classic red, green, cream, brown and a pop of mustard! You only need small amounts of yarn for each pattern. Be sure to check out my video tutorials linked below if you need some extra help!
Do you like crocheting quick and easy blankets? I do! They are one of my favorite things to do when I want a mindless project to work on. The Thistle Throw is the perfect size so that it doesn’t take too long to finish but it’s still looks great thrown on the back of a couch!
The Thistle Throw is worked from the bottom up, with a fun row repeat! It’s made entirely of double crochet and chain stitches, so it’s perfect for beginners.
The Vel-Luxe yarn is super soft and easy to work with. I used the Dusty Pink color and think it’s beautiful! They have lots of other colors to chose from as well.

Did you know October is national bullying prevention month? I designed a super simple blue hat using Lion Brand Jeans yarn in support of it! The 2 rows of puffs are symbolic for the equality sign. Pattern:
This cowl is super fast to whip up! I found this Pattern for the Lorelei super scarf and fell in love with it. Instead of making a scarf I decided to turn it into a cowl. It’s a really simple and repetitive pattern.
I chained 27 and completed rows 1-4. I then repeated rows 2-4 until I had a total of 27 rows altogether.
After that, I slip stitched the beginning row and last row together. Weave in all the ends.
Simple as that.
