The girls have been begging for me to crochet them something with lots of bright, rainbow colors. Of course i’m going to oblige! I already knew a matching headband and fingerless mitt set would be super cute but I still had to hunt down the perfect yarn!
I decided to go to JOANN and check out the yarn because I knew it was currently the Yarnormous sale! Unless you are brand new to the yarn life, than you already know the Yarnormous sale that happens every year is THE best time to stock up on yarn!
I found a really pretty Mandala Sparkle yarn by Lion Brand and knew it would be perfect for this project! The color I picked was Serpents but they had a ton of different color combos to chose from. I absolutely had to get this color because it reminded me of Lisa Frank! Don’t you agree? I had so many Lisa Frank folders, stickers and pencils back in the day with fun crazy colors like this! I had to go with the name Frankie for this design! Haha
The best part about this project is using up the different colors in the cakes however you want. You can cut and join to arrange colors to your liking! I ended up with a purple and pink headband with matching green and blue mitts! I added some trim on to both the mitts and headband to give it even more color.

Which do you prefer… Teatime? Or Ski Time? The Ski Time Pullover is the sister design to The Teatime Cardigan! I decided to go with my same stitch pattern but wanted to make this one a solid color for a more subtle look! But…I do reallllly want to see someone make this one with different color stripes! I think it would be so cute!!
I used Heartland yarn for this design which is one of my favorite soft and cozy yarns. It’s the same yarn I used for The Stony Shore Cardigan and The Pemberly Pullover! The Ski Time Pullover is worked from the bottom up in separate panels. You can easily add more rows if you want a longer sweater! Just add as many rows as you want before the neckline shaping on the front panel, then add the same amount to the back! It’s also written with several inches of positive ease, so no need to size up. I’m wearing a size small in the photos!
How are we already in this weird in between stage of summer and fall?! The end of summer is looming so that means my summer designs are also coming to an end. Luckily, The Palmar Pullover is perfect for this in between time!
The Picot Mesh stitch is one of my all time favorites for warmer makes! I think it’s one of yours too since The Zahora Cardigan was so loved! I used the Picot Mesh stitch for the Zahora and fell in love with the drape and comfy fit! After a few requests here and there for a pullover version I decided it was time to make one using Pima Cotton yarn! The Zahora used Lion Brand Comfy Cotton which is very similar to the Pima that I used here!
I wanted to give The Palmar Pullover a similar look to the Zahora with the speckled colors throughout a neutral base. Luckily, there is a few super cute options for the Pima yarn! I didn’t want it to be too overwhelming with color so I grabbed a neutral vintage and paired it with a colorful Seaglass! You might not even be able to see the striping, it’s so subtle! If you want to stick to solid stripes you can easily do that by picking 2 solid colors. Or, if you aren’t a fan of the stripes you can even make it in one solid color throughout! I definitely recommend grabbing the Lion Brand yarn kit so you can customize your look!
Summer is in full swing here and I knew I needed to design a comfy tank top to wear! The Racing Summer Tank crochet pattern is light weight, soft and quick to make! It has a cropped look to it but you can easily make it as long as you want! It’s racerback style on the back with spaghetti straps!
I used your typical single crochet V-St for this tank top. What’s a V Stitch? Sc, Ch 1, Sc all into the same space! You will work your V St into the V from the row below! Then just repeat throughout the pattern. Easy peasy. If you want a bit more length just repeat the V St row right before the shaping on the front panel. Be sure to add the same amount of rows to the back as well.
Pair it with some cute jean shorts or a long flowy skirt! The Coboo yarn I used comes in so many nice colors, so you have tons of options! Grabbing the kit from Lion Brand is such a good deal. Basically you are just paying for the yarn and you get the printable PDF for free! They usually have a sale or coupon code running so you can grab it even cheaper! Didn’t I tell you guys that there would be a matching pullover to the beloved Stony Shore Cardigan?! Well here it is… The Stony Shore Pullover! Haha, I had to keep the name the same obviously since they are sister designs. If you enjoyed the Cardigan design then you will definitely love the pullover!
The Stony Shore Pullover crochet pattern is constructed very similar to the cardigan. It’s actually a bit quicker to do because you don’t have to worry about pockets and the trim is a lot smaller! This is an oversized pullover! You do NOT need to size up to get this slouchy look like mine! I am wearing a size small in the photos. Be sure to check the size chart below and pick yours size via your bust size. If you want a less slouch fit, size down.
I used Lionbrand Jeans for the pullover instead of Heartland like I did in the cardigan. However, either one works great for this! So if you prefer Heartland you can still swap it out. Although, I’m in love with Jeans yarn and highly recommend it!
Description: The Stony Shore Pullover is the sister design to the Stony Shore Cardigan! It has a cozy oversized fit with cute balloon style sleeves. The stitch gives a beautiful and fun texture. Beginner friendly and fun to make!
My last pattern of the year is here! The Sunset Bomber is a fun make using bulky yarn with a beautiful outcome! I love when a pattern works up quickly and this one does just that! I wanted more of a jacket look for this design and am super happy how it turned out!
The Sunset Bomber is worked in separate panels from the bottom up. Now, you will be using 2 different sized hooks for this pattern so make sure you switch when you are supposed to! The smaller hook is used in the ribbing and the larger hook is used in the main body of all the panels.
The stitch repeat in this pattern is very simple. Just single crochet, Ch 1, Sk 1! Your single crochets will be worked in the single crochet from the row below and you will always ch 1 and Sk 1 over the Ch from the row below!

I had to do it. I just couldn’t help myself. After making The Luna Cardigan using Lion Brand Go For Fleece Sherpa I KNEW I had to make a blanket. The Forever Winter Throw is here and definitely my coziest blanket pattern! Not only is it the coziest but it’s also the easiest.
Even a beginner can do this project! The entire blanket is worked up in single crochet stitches. You can easily feel your stitches as you go and I even made a video tutorial to help you out!
If you want your Forever Winter Throw to be bigger just add more chains to the starting chain and add more rows until you are happy with the size! I only used 7 skeins for mine.

I’m back again with another summer design! This time I made a square neck style tank top with Coboo yarn called The Twist Of Summer Tank! This design is definitely beginner friendly and a very easy make. I used the Lemon Peel stitch to work up the main body of this top. I love the beautiful texture this stitch creates, it’s one of my all time favorites! You might recognize it from my Harvest Pullover!
The Twist Of Summer Tank is worked up in 2 panels from the bottom up. You will create the ribbing first and then rotate to work the main body. Each panel is exactly the same. Next we will sew the panels together, add a quick trim and then crochet the straps!
It’s also super customizable. You can easily add some rows to make it a longer length top or remove rows for a more cropped look! Just adjust the length before tying off your panels.

Did you know that Terracotta is Lion Brand’s color of the year? I knew that I wanted to design something using the color and thought it would be so pretty as a blanket! Terracotta means- “unglazed, typically brownish-red earthenware”. One of my followers on Instagram pointed this out and suggested the name “The Potters Throw” for my blanket! I thought it was so perfect!
I had some leftover Homespun Thick & Quick from my Snowcap Cardigan and thought it would mix in so well with this design. I alternated Wool Ease Thick & Quick with Homespun Thick & Quick every row and loved the texture it ended up with. I know you are probably thinking…”But what about all the ends you have to weave in?!” Well NO worries! All you have to do is tie a knot every time you change yarn colors. You will crochet an easy trim around the border of the blanket working directly over the ends! That means you have only a few to weave in! Handy, right?

I love a good crochet raglan sweater! Are you a fan of top down designs? Or do you like working from the bottom up? The Willow Sweater is top down or “raglan” style! I haven’t really made too many crochet patterns from the top down. It was fun being able to try it on as I went!
This sweater has no seams and no sewing. Thats definitely a plus. I have to admit though, I don’t mind sewing pieces together and I think my favorite will always be bottom up sweaters in separate pieces. Each time you finish a panel it’s like checking off a task and it seems to go quicker for me!
I love the look of a cozy cowl on a crochet raglan sweater but you could also easily leave it off. It would save you yarn, time and be less bulky in the warmer months!
